Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for a global audience of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, primary care clinicians, and the care teams that manage people with schizophrenia.

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize negative symptoms and cognitive impairments associated with schizophrenia in patients with schizophrenia.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Have increased knowledge regarding the
    • Burden of cognitive impairments associated with schizophrenia
    • Burden of negative symptoms of schizophrenia
  • Have greater competence related to
    • Detecting cognitive impairments and negative symptoms in patients with schizophrenia
